Our journey to the Phi Phi Islands was nothing short of a dream. With its crystal-clear waters, dramatic limestone cliffs, and vibrant marine life, we knew that choosing the perfect hotel would elevate our experience even further. I had done my research before reaching there and i wanted wanted a place that balanced comfort, luxury, and the raw beauty of nature also it should be on the beach and away from the crowds .There are quite a few resorts at Phi Phi but it must match my budget and so i checked on booking .com , agoda also and finally shortlisted few .JiAfter researching and comparing the shortlisted hotels, I finally came across Phi Phi CoCo Beach Resort, nestled along the pristine Loh Dalum Bay. The photos of bamboo-style villas set against lush tropical gardens immediately caught our attention.I also wanted to be with the nature and away from concrete hotels . So this was all made of Bamboo . It seemed to blend natural aesthetics with modern comforts seamlessly. The positive reviews, praising the resort's tranquility and prime location, reassured us that this was the place to be.It was away from the main crowded market place and away from the ferry locations ie Tonsai Pier as this area does not have good beaches .Dalum Bay has got lovely sandy beaches .
Upon arrival, we were greeted with warm smiles and refreshing welcome drinks. The resort’s rustic yet elegant design made us feel as if we had stepped into an exotic paradise. Our villa was spacious, adorned with wooden decor, and came with a private balcony nice sit out offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Waking up to the sounds of gentle waves and chirping birds made each morning truly magical.
One of the highlights of our stay was the stunning infinity pool which was really superb that overlooked the bay. It had palm trees around it giving natural protection from the direct sun at the same time enjoying the nature . The best area is their pool you can spend hours here .Most of the time was spent in the pool or in the sea just few steps . So it was ultimate comfort of the both swimming pool and also the beach .We spent our afternoons lounging by the water, sipping on cocktails from the poolside bar these cocktails were quite reasonable . soaking in this serene atmosphere was just magical . The beach as i mentioned was just a few steps away was also ideal for long leisurely walks and sunset gazing.
The resort’s Bamboo Restaurant served an array of delicious dishes, combining fresh seafood with Thai and international flavors. But since we were vegetarians they had lot of options for that also .Every meal was a delight. whether it was a hearty breakfast with tropical fruits and really wide spread of all sorts including french pastries macarons again they had lot of vegetarian options . we also took one candlelit dinner under the stars.
Phi Phi CoCo Beach Resort offers a range of facilities that make it stand out from other hotels in the area. The resort features a fully equipped fitness center, allowing guests to stay active while enjoying the island life. A relaxing outdoor spa is also available where we indulged in traditional Thai massages, perfect after a long day of exploration.Again not very costly .
For adventure seekers, the resort provides exciting activities such as snorkeling, diving, and kayaking. They provide one hour of free Kayaking which i took on two days . This way i could go right upto the main opening to the bay where sea was high but very safe .The crystal-clear waters surrounding the island are teeming with marine life, making underwater excursions unforgettable. Additionally, the resort organizes boat tours to nearby attractions like Maya Bay and Monkey Beach, giving guests a chance to experience the best of Phi Phi Islands.
What set Phi Phi CoCo Beach Resort apart was its exceptional service and attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, offering recommendations for island excursions, arranging snorkeling trips, and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The staff was very friendly and cleaning of the villa was done every day . Also linen was spick and span .They provide separate towels for the sea and swimming pool area .Also they tele cast movies near the pool in the evening it is just superb enjoying the movie in the open and also the stars gazing .
In the end, choosing Phi Phi CoCo Beach Resort was the best decision we made. It perfectly encapsulated the essence of Phi Phi Islands—natural beauty, relaxation, and warm hospitality.
